Advice
If I could give one sentence of advice to a student who would be taking this in the future it would be to never give up, even if computers don't seem to like you. :)

Websites and Stumpers
My three favorite webistes were Kate's, Jaime's and Andree's. I liked Kate's website so much because of her play on her last name by doing the interesting collage in her masthead. That was so creative and yet it looked so good on the page. I like Jaime's page because of the colors that he used. They went perfectly with the soccer picture. I liked Andree's because I feel like you could really feel who she was through her page.
My three favorite stumpers belonged to Kate, Jordan and Alex. I really like Kate's because of the interesting angle that the picture was taken at, although I don't know where the picture was taken. The same thing goes for why I like Jordan's. The angle at which you see the pillars is very interesting. Alex's was just so pretty and relaxing to look at.

TIME Person of the Year
The TIME Magazine's person of the year of 2006 was "you". This means that instead of honoring one incredible person in this world, TIME decided to honor everyone. I think that this is a huge step for our society. It says that we are finally understanding that it takes more that just one person to make a difference in this world. It takes us all.
It was said in the article that Web 2.0 is the reason for this shift. It has allowed us to share our ideas and thoughts with the rest of the world and to expand our knowledge of things unknown to us. If this is so, then the possibilities for even more expansion and evolution is endless. We must continue on this exploration and never close our minds to new and unknown things. From here, we can go anywhere. From here, we can do anything.

My Computer Skills
My Microsoft skills before this class were fairly minimal. I took a BCIS course in high school which taught me the very basic parts of the program but not very much more than that. As far as other programs go, I do not know very much. I can do basically just the basic tasks and beyond that I struggle. I hope that this class will better equip me to work with computers for these next four years and then after that into the job force.
